Thank you to everyone who attended my book launch for Broken Roots on Saturday 3rd December. It was an amazing day. I met friends who enjoy reading my books and lots of new people who were so interested to learn more about my YA novel Broken Roots. The choir, SES Acappella, were sensational and we even raised money for charity. In the fundraising section, we raised £12.00 playing Guess The Name of The Bear. The bear’s name was ‘Sunshine’. Kalwinder guessed the name of the bear correctly and won it along with some sweets. The following week, the donation increased to £17, when I took my charity tin to work and got a contribution from a member of staff. All money raised through the game and afterwards, is going to Young Minds, a UK mental health charity that supports young people’s mental health and wellbeing. 1. Thank you so much for your support, Christie, from the very start of my career. It’s been so special to have you follow my journey. I really appreciate all the help and support you have given me. Contacting Proof Positive one year ago is where it all started for me.

If I ever do a signing in New York, I will definitely let you know. It would be amazing to go to America and do an event. Who knows, one day I might pay a visit 😉
